BAMDE Presentation

Bulgarian Association of Medical Devices Entrepreneurs (BAMDE) is the face of medical technology and industry in Bulgaria, established on February 16th, 2006. It represents approximately 40 companies representing in Bulgaria almost all major world producers.

One of the objectives of the Association is to protect the interests of its members before public authorities, in order to create legislation which establishes minimum barriers to the development of economic initiatives. Headquarter of BAMDE is in Sofia and offers information, contacts and services to its partners giving them an advantage over other organizations in the industry.

BAMDE has its own regulations and represents the business interests of its members. Each member has the ability to interfere in the decision making process.

BAMDE is governed by a five-member board, consisting of a chairman - the company Medimag-MS, managed by Dipl.Eng. Sylvia Petrova, the company Novimed, managed by Rumen Petkov, the company MedicalEquipment Engineering, the company Marvena and Siemens, represented by  Todor Vodenicharov, Director of the Medical Division for Bulgaria.
